Meet Steve Labriola

I am a Massachusetts native with a life-long passion for fixing things. As a curious kid, I craved any opportunity to disassemble and reconstruct common household items.  But, before long, family and friends began to seek my help with small repairs and troubleshooting… my advanced skills and work ethic were honed working beside my grandfather, a finished carpenter, and my father.

After twenty years of running my own service business and more recently property management, I have decided to do what comes naturally and with great personal pleasure – helping people improve their homes and quality of life!

Over the years, Steve has performed a variety of building jobs for me at my summer place in Northern Vermont. He built a stone fence, stairs descendant to the beach and many, many smaller enterprises that came along. Always, he completed these tasks efficiently, with lasting results. A few years ago, I asked him to build a pump-house. He had a long weekend, and in that time constructed a sturdy, elegant-looking building that has lasted, without further attention, throughout the years. I've known Steve for several years and have finally had the pleasure of working with him. My wife and I recently built a post and beam home and the carpenter I was using did not want to build the doors that I wanted. He suggested that I buy pre-hung doors because it would be easier. He literally told me it was a dumb idea to build them. After hiring Steve he thought outside the box and not only built the doors for me but also the casings and trimmed everything. We recently hired him again to install some kitchen cabinets at a rental property as well as trim out all the doors, windows and baseboard. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is a pleasure to work with!! Not only does he have a lot of initiative & creativity but is very conscientious. He even cleans up after himself at the end of the day.
